Even worse, she’s unelectable for conservatives in a hallmark year!

With establishment backing, she LOST the Republican primary in 2008 and would clearly have also lost in November.

Now that the Obama “Hope & Change” honeymoon is over, with Gov. Martinez, Lt.Gov. Sanchez & Rep. Pearce leading the NM GOP, and polls showing Rep. Heinrich’s rubberstamp of the liberal Obama agenda of spending/Obamacare being extremely unfavorable (USA Today, 2-23-12), New Mexico Republican chances are great with the right candidate.  It is naive to think that Harry Reid, the DSCC, and the Obama Machine don’t have significantly more opposition research than just our Google searches.

As a result of the growth of entitlement programs and the aging of the population, the Government Accountability Office estimates that to balance the budget in 2040, the government would have to slash total spending by about 60 percent or raise taxes to 2.5 times today’s level.
